The Dive Bar is 'Atlanta's newest and best rock n' roll bar' located in heart of Buckhead, just north of downtown.
Where night life is vibrant and lively nearly seven days a week, The Dive Bar will be featuring some of Atlanta's
best local, the South's best regional, and the Country's best National acts in a small intimate room four nights a week.
Formerly known as 'the Chameleon Club', the Dive Bar will continue to feature many bands on the rise to stardom.
Such bands that have performed in the club include Sister Hazel, Hootie & the Blowfish, Edwin McCain, Better Than Ezra, and
Dave Matthews Band. The Dive Bar intends to carry on that tradition of breaking new acts into the market and for the country.
The atmosphere of the club resembles that of an old warehouse with concrete floors, scaps of
surrgated sheet metal, and old oil barrels flipped over used as tables for a very industrial feel.
The club is mostly painted black, the choice color for all musicians, and lined with black indoor/
outdoor carpeting. Two garage doors open up to the new wooden deck that sits out front and
overlooks Atlanta's World Famous Peachtree Road and Buckhead's nightlife. Three full bars and
a few beer troughs should keep it easy to grab a cold beverage, paying for it of course. There will
be ample parking for most shows, some spaces free, some not, so get there early.
'Something for everyone' will also be the approach the Dive Bar takes in having a wide range of musical acts.
In the area commonly called the 'Triangle' or 'Trifecta' by locals, because of the three bars located there,
this slightly off-the-beaten path from Buckhead's fast paced scene gives the entertainment seeker a fresh
alternative of just hangin' out and checking out a band at the Dive Bar, sippin' on a cold one at Moondogs,
or dancing to 70's and 80's songs at the Hole in the Wall.
