The BooM BooM RooM… this darkly-lit, down-home, sultry juke joint is reminiscent of the old Fillmore clubs of the 1950’s, and features jumpin’ live Boogie Blues, Soul, Groove and Funk, cocktails and boogie-down, “raise the roof” dancing seven nights a week. The Boom Boom Room provides a true neighborhood “home” to the Blues & Funky Soul in the Bay area.

* JUST THE BEST IN COCKTAILS, DANCING, BOOGIE BLUES, SOUL, JAZZ, R&B, GROOVE & FUNK! *
Located at 1601 Fillmore in the heart of San Francisco’s old Fillmore district, the location boasts a colorful history of playing host to the “who’s who” of blues musicians in a neighborhood known for its musical roots. In its previous incarnation, the club had been a favorite hangout of John Lee’s. The establishment of the club at this venerable location also marked the beginning of the area’s planned revival as the Bay area’s blues and jazz district in 1997 – a resurgence supported by the Fillmore Jazz Preservation District and San Francisco Redevelopment Agency. Today, the BooM BooM RooM continues to provide stellar entertainment with a list that grows weekly of legendary and rising musicians that come to call the club their home away from home in San Francisco. With its uncompromising quality (from sound to presentation) and its truly electric vibe, it is not surprising that the BooM BooM RooM is now widely regarded as a favorite venue nationally (and internationally) to musicians and music fans alike.
The Boom Boom Room is open seven days a week from 2PM to 2AM. Cover charge is extremely reasonable: normally $3 on Mondays, $3 on Tuesdays, $5 on Wednesdays, $5 on Thursdays, $8 - $10 on Fridays & Saturdays and $3 on Sundays (charges vary for special shows). Entertainment schedules available monthly.
