Traitor and the whore is a four (+) piece band based out of Vancouver, Canada that started out as a seven piece. The primary instruments are Keyboard, Synth, Guitar, Bass, and Drums, and Flute. The members are multi-instrumentalists who frequntly trade instruments during live performances. They have been together since early 2003, and have seen many band memebers changing roles since then. They recently toured British Columbia and Alberta, and released a CD-EP on February 12th, 2004. They have described their own sound as ba-rock (a synthesis of baroque and rock) because of the unique elements and musical backgrounds melded together to form traitor and the whore. Traitor and the whore has 3 vocalists, two of whom share song writing duties. Adam Horn is a songwriter/vocalist who plays piano and synthesizer. Sean Ramsey is also a songwriter/vocalist who plays guitar and some drums. Dan Toews is the drummer who occasionally sings and he plays guitar as well.
