Salsa Brava is a latin salsa dance band formed in 1995 by Spanish singer Monica Vazquez. It's a seven piece band with top class musicians on Keyboards, Trumpets, Trombone, Congas and Timbales.
The band use modern sound technology to create their own driving latin sound and have had great success with the independent release of one of their own songs 'Caliente' which was composed by Monica.They have also appeared on many shows for Irish, Spanish and British T.V. and radio
Salsa Brava is made up of some of the top musicians in Ireland who, between them have worked with a host of Irish and international artists including, Lisa Stansfield, Terence Trent-Darby, The Corrs, Oasis, Pucho and his latin soul brothers to name just a few.
Monica recieved a great reception in the bith place of salsa when she played in concert in the 'Casa de la Musica', Havana recently with legendary Affro-jazz artist Bobby Carcasses, who has composed one of the bands original songs 'Africano Espanol'
