Neven was formed in February 1995. Neven combines real musicianship with electronic devices. Although neven has produced 8 full length cd's, it is on stage that the real neven comes to life.

All neven members have very different backgrounds. Peter clasen, sequencing and sampling comes from an electronic techno background. Toon derison, on drums and percussion, always played in blues/roots bands. Dominiek vermeiren, percussion, is a real african music lover. Johan Clasen en Polo golmann, on clarinet and sax can be considered as real jazzmen.

since 2 years now neven, besides producing their own albums, neven also focused on making music for movies and theatershows. This gave to some of the neventunes a more ambientfeel.

Neven is currently working on a project wich involves circusartists. Its a new an exciting project bringing together dancemusic and a classic circusfeel.
