'in your absence' formed in kansas city in 2003, and plays a dark, moody, melodic form of rock that many people classify as goth. the band first released a 4-song EP, then a full-length album entitled 'confession' in april 2005. the band plays actively in kansas city, and has played from st. louis to denver.
