Amsterband was formed December 8th 2001. Since then the three members Lukas Long(bass), Brian Roberts(vocals, guitar) and Robert Mueller(drums) have made their way into the springfield music scence. As one of the most hardworking bands the repuation in town for amsterband has grown.

Their versatile style and musical talent atracts alot of different people. Young college students can relate to the fun lyrics about life in college as well as the mature part of the crowd digs the sometimes funky, jazzy and then really settled and mature style of amsterband.

Amsterband always puts on a good show and entertains the people. Which is probaly the main reason why people dig this band that hasnt been around for a long time. Something crazy always happens when the three guys enter the stage.
