WarDogz are based out of Southern Indiana. The line-up has played in tons of bands over the years. Racking up over a thousand shows between them. It wasn’t until late 2002 that these four guys found each other. Drawn together by the song writing and the inborn talent of Keith Phillips- lead guitarist and vocals at the helm…Mike VanBibber- Lead guitar, Kaven Pennell-bass and Mark Decker-drums complete this powerful monster called WarDogz. The buzz in the Midwest underground metal scene has fueled the inferno that makes the machine WarDogz build a new fan base show after show. Selling 400 copies of their self released EP “Probate” and with the July 2004 release of “Ball Deep” is evidence that real music still exists and is being seeked out. In June 2004 WarDogz signed a co-publishing agreement with Pete Ganbarg’s Pure Tone Music. WarDogz is a mixture of immense guitar oriented, raw, heavy power groove addicting from the first riff. Having been around since the beginning of hard rock, they have maintained the old school sound but WarDogz sound is not dated. There are a handful of great bands in this era of hard rock and WarDogz will prove to be one of them.
