War Creek Mafia was formed in 2005 after the breakup of the orignal Stone Ka-tet. Consisting of 3 of the original members of SKT, War Creek Mafia has taken the sound that they once embraced and expanded it into a more musical, yet heavier and more destructive sounding form of old school metal.

With the lineup of Christopher Bowe on lead vocals and lead guitar, Spike Lawrence on drums, and Joe Lawrence on bass, the heavier than doom sound is still there. Now with the addition of rhythm guitar player Anthony Hoylman who brings a little of the death-thrash influence into the mix, War Creek Mafia has a sound all its own.
