Up is new on the scene in central and eastern Missouri and will be spending the next few months refining their sound and their material. Up is a power trio composed of Wayne Bates on guitar, Tim Clouse on bass, and Scotty Brake on drums.

The band's music, which is a mix of covers and original material, isn't the standard fare found in most blues or rock music. The message is positive and encouraging. Fans of driving rock-n-roll won't be disappointed, however. It's quite fitting to mention that this band rocks harder and louder than the average local band and each member is a veteran of the stage. 2007 will mark the beginnings of this musical element, so be sure to catch them live. Up will be performing at a variety of events across the state of Missouri to include car shows, biker rallies, festivals, fairs, and other special events.

Only time will tell what this band has to offer, but one thing is certain: Up will unwind your mind!
