Underground Angel is a pure crossover entertainment group. Combining the styles and influences of each of the members to give them a truely unique sound. Some Blues, Rock, and Country mixed with the feel of todays most popular Female vocalists. A Folk - Rock feel that entertains the younger crowd but smooth enough for everyone to enjoy. Without ever having their first live perfomance the band was approached by record labels from L.A. and New York. This is an act that you really don't want to miss!!

Underground Angel is: Keri Riggs Vocalist, Kim Swickard Vocalist, Gordon West Guitar and Vocals, Matt Stillwell Rhythm Guitar, Ian Stalcup Bass, and David Hellman Drums. Each member has a very distinct musical background and each has seperate tastes in musical style. Combined it gives the band the smooth flow of R&B blues, Uptempo dance beats, and driven rhythms. This group feels that Lyrics Matter. With three of the areas best known songwriters in the same group, Underground Angels original material has brought the group the most notice. By combining their original songs with GOOD music of nearly every other genre, Underground Angels live performances draw crowds of all ages.

The original Group was Keri Riggs and Gordon West writing material for a duo recording. As the songs were written the need for the full band became apparent. After a new years fundraising performance made of the members of Underground Angel and 2 X 12 Kim Swickward was added as a backup vocalist. By the end of the first practice it was obvious that Kim was too powerfull a force for merely backup vocals and started sharing lead responsibilities with Keri. After numerous auditions Ian Stalcup was added on bass for the driven sound that he added to the music. Ian is a fan of the heavier bands of the eighties and it shows in his approach to hammering in the bottom end of the sound. Matt stillwell came in on rhythm guitar to keep the groove going. Matt is a fan of bands as varied as Radiohead and White Stripes. Last but not least David Hellman on Drums. David is a fan of the Flaming Lips and the Pixies. Our music takes advantage of Davids rapid fire drum licks but in a groove oriented fashion.
