Twistdead Fable arose in late 1996. From there a few adjustments were made to complete the band. Early 97, TDF started playing the curcuit to get exposure, which diffinately worked out. Wining Battle of the bands by the middle of 1998 for a local rock station, KROK 106.5, from there things seem to be moving right along. Invited to do charity work for the MDA, we traveled to NV. with over 3500+ in attendance and help raising an overwhelming $65,000.00 for this undesirable disease. We were very pleased. Later again asked to do a benefit for the ABUSED CHILDREN in Phoenix at BOSTON's, we couldn't pass it up. By the end of 98, we were ready to release 'LOOKING INSIDE' which actually fell on Febuary of 1999. TDF has been featured on two(2 compilations through SIS RECORDS. Vol. 1 featured song 'LIES' which out of seventeen bands, had an overwhelming 5to1 in sales. Vol 4 'URBAN MAYHEM', features songs 'U', 'EYE'S OF MADNESS', 'MUNKEY STEW'. Moving to Phoenix in Oct. 1999 after taking SLC by storm with winning several awards from two (2) different music corps/magazines, Wasatch Aidio Reserve, The City Weekly. Wasatch Audio Reserve had put on a contest that was, FAIRLY, voted by fans. One week later, The Event Weekly magazine, Had said 'Congratulation to the winners of the Wasatch Area Music Awards! Rock and roll ruled the festivities as metal perveyors Twistdead Fable took top honors as BAND OF THE YEAR, BEST METAL BAND, BEST STAGE PERSONNA. The City Weekly had put on a similar event named 'The Slammy's', Awards for this event include 'Best Band to Party to', 'Best Drummer'. Review on 'LOOKING INSIDE' from magazine 'SLUG', Twistdead Fable are an amalgam of 'Prove you Wrong' era Prong, Sacred Reich, Pantera and Metallica. The songs on LOOKING INSIDE are HARSH! The all feature the time changes, galloping rythms and snarling, guttural vocals that are characteristics of nineties metal! The disc's first two tracks, Zenything goes, and the title track were each played by me about five times before i could get over them and move on to the rest of the album. A more complete listen reveals the galloping intensity of EYE OF MADNESS and the lamentation of an on again-off-again narcotic romance in cocain. The production here is out fucking standing. Looking inside is a masterpeice'. After making the big move to Phoenix, TDF decided to get ourselves back in the studio and do a buttload of gig's, get the name out again. Since this move we have inquired a few good thing's, like geting sponsorship from DREAMSCAPES TATTOO, 480-874-3240 if ever in Phoenix. Looking to get in the studio mid JULY and start with a 3 song EP that should be released in OCt./NOV. 2000.
