Genre:Tuesday Mourning is an indie band with strong roots in punk and ska. Techno has also played an influence of late.Says band member Christopher: 'When I was a kid I used to listen to anything I could get my hands on. Mostly stuff that my parents and siblings had around the house. Even Polkas on occasion. It's amazing what you'll crank up on the 8-track just to drown out the screaming... But yeah, punk stuck, hardcore.'

History:Formed after a night of drinking which culminated the propulsion of a flaming half-frozen turkey through a 5th story window one wintery night back in aught-one, the band has had its share of mishaps over the years but fingers get reattatched and so do ears so the band members have managed to smile through it all. Kieran has commented, 'Though we've come a long way since the turkey, well actually it was a game-hen, but anyway... I will say this: it's all about keeping your llamas watered, if you can do that then keeping Peter Buck out of your gerbils and Elminster's hat straight will be a breeze. From there you are home free, and I know I've never looked back.' Update: In the summer of 2003, Tuesday Mourning decided to go it's separate ways for, well, the summer and join up again in the fall. Christopher did a solo album in that time and changed his legal name to 'Deathicus, the Viking Death Lord' which he insists upon our calling him, despite Jess's pointing out that Deathicus is a slaughtering of the Latin language if anything and has absolutely no relation vikings whatsoever. That aside, Deathicus's album, was well, interesting.
