Originally started as a solo project for ex-Childman(Houston,TX) guitarist/songwriter,Larry Gutierrez, to blow off some steam. Lots of energy and great,and different, songwriting really separates TORPOR from the pack. They take advantage of this and have started the groundwork for future success that will be achieved.

TORPOR consists of: Larry Gutierrez-guitar/vocals, Steve Hernandez-drums and Sally Dederick on bass. A power trio of immense magnitude. TORPOR delivers where others bands fail.

The current line-up has only been together for 3months, but TORPOR will be hitting the studio in January 2001 to record an ep. Plus, TORPOR plans to play every chance they get to get the word out. TORPOR in 2001!!!!!
