I am a musician. I have been playing guitar since I was eleven. I have been in quite a few bands along the way. My very first band was a blues band when I was in high school. Mainly doing blues songs and covering Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.

I quickly became bored with the blues and classic rock covers and I joined a speed metal band. We were called Multiple Stab Wounds. I wrote most of the songs. We ended up with a ton of originals and played quite a few parties. We never actually did any recording or music production, other than the occasional recording ourselves on a boom box. Nothing says great music production like a boom box recording! The band went thru a lineup change and we changed our name to 4 Story Fall. Played a few parties and did lots of crazy covers. We wrote quite a few more originals. Played a gig at Fernandos. We played 7th Street Entry “New Band Night.” It was a blast. They loved us. We actually got a really great sounding recording from the soundboard of 7th Street.

After yet another lineup change, we were called Gash. Now more of a punk sound than metal. Playing even more originals and, as always, a few crazy covers mixed in. We had quite a few party gigs. One that was wall to wall packed, and we rocked hardcore! We tried to do some hard drive recording at our friend Thor’s house. But we never got much more than demos.

I got tired of the punk/metal scene so I quit the band. I did the singer songwriter thing. I found a guy to play cello and we played coffee shops under the name of Psycho Balloon Pilot. We ended up writing quite a few songs. We used my Tascam 4 track for recording. We got quite a few decent tracks that we put up on the web. We never actually produced a full CD. Just lots of assorted tracks and demos. But now, I’m all alone. Just me, my guitars and the studio in my basement. I pretty much just do recording now. I am working on my third CD, which I hope to have completely recorded and mastered by the end of summer.
