Tim Harrington Band was born of an earnest love of the art and craft of music, and continues to mature and transform both personally and professionally. Drawing from such diverse influences as Kansas, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Dream Theater, Heart, and Rush, the group skillfully and energetically weaves a stylistic tapestry of tasteful tones gleaned from numerous genres, including Rock, Jazz, Pop, Latin, and Reggae. Thoughtful, evocative lyrics intertwine with complex, artful rhythms and memorable melodic passages to paint a musical mural of sonic subtleties with every dynamic, heartfelt performance.

THB is a prolific musical force in the local and regional music scene. Performing a lively mix of originals and classic rock covers at numerous memorable venues such as Lafayette, Indiana’s “Taste of Tippecanoe” and “Hot Summer Nights” festivals, the Greater Lafayette Rubber Duck Race, the Pumpkin Festival of St. Anne, Illinois, and on the Madam Carroll riverboat on Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. The band often performs live on Lafayette’s 95.3 FM, “The Rocket”. Now in their musical prime, the band has made the shift to playing only original tunes, hoping to capture the hearts and minds of audiences with their unique fusion of music and emotions, spirit and notions.

THB’s songs are snapshots of everyday life, taken from common experiences. Each composition is a musical journey, layered with insight and messages of growth, self-discovery, encouragement and triumph over adversity.
