The Unusual Mix is a band dedicated to giving Christians a new side of Christian music. The band has a unique style that seems to grasp about everyone that listens to them. The Unusual Mix plays a variety of well known worship covers and they also have quite the song list of their own. Their goal is to impact the world for Christ with a new side of Christian music.

The band formed in Sept. of 2003 with Dave on piano and Mike singing. They then picked up Micah on E. Guitar, Drew on bass, and Phil on drums. Phil later had to leave, so Eric Spurlin took over on the drums. Those are the 5 members. Paul Mauer fills in on Aux. Percussion at shows and in the studio.

Some of the places The Unusual Mix has performed in Indiana is: Northview Christian Life (carmel), Grace Community (carmel), The Living Room (muncie), Bethany Christian Church (anderson), Anderson Universtiy, Cafe Camaratta, and The House (indianapolis).
