The Separation Of May was salvaged from the ruins of the late pop/punk/emo project Pinewood Derby. The spirit of the band has survived a high number of member changes and various misfortunes involving practice spaces. The thread that led The Separation through everything was a common love for music, and an insatiable drive to make it.

Three of the four members of P.D. are now proud members of The Separation of May. Scott Boone plays guitar and sings, Shane Poole plays bass and sings, and George Jenkins plays the drums. This lineup is the most chemistric and productive lineup that has been attempted, which anchors the band in a concrete position where they can concentrate fully on music.

The band has recorded one 13-song album,and is currently working on a second release. They are filling their schedule with mostly east-coast shows, and plan on expanding their bases as quickly and happily as possible. The Separation Of May will see you...
