Papa Luigi was formed in 2004 for a high school talent show. The orginal line-up was Ryan Lorber, Austin Lingner, Daniel, Greg, and some other guy. Soon after the show, Daniel and the other guy left the band leaving just 3 members. In early 2005, current bassist Zack Johnson and vocalist Adam Wetzel joined the band for a 'Battle of the Bands' in Atlanta.

Greg left the band soon before the show and Papa Luigi was left drummerless. A friend named Bj joined the band soon after to take Greg's place. A month after the show, they recorded their first demo CD. Shortly after, Bj left the band.

In mid 2005, Austin left the band to attend college in Florida. Toward the end of 2005, Adam took over as a second guitarist. Jonathan Witmer joined the band and took over as the drummer in late 2005, giving the band a completed line-up.

Today Papa Luigi are still going strong with the same members and play shows regularly around Atlanta. Be on the look out for a show near you!
