The Luis Diaz Quintet was formed in 1992, at the request of the owner of a Jazz club in Milwaukee to bring a new and refreshing sound to the place. Since then we have worked in most of the city's Jazz and Music festivals. We have been asked to oppen for some of the industries best Jazz and Latin bands. We have performed clinks and workshops for The University of Wisconsin, The Milwaukee Area Technical College, The Milwaukee public schools, The Jazz Experience and at Music stores such as Cascio and the Brass Bell.

The members of the group are Mike Plog on Trumpet and arrangements, Jim Paolo on Bass, Dave Bayles on Drums, Steve Einerson on Piano and arrangements and the leader Luis Diaz on Latin Percussion. Our CD 'On The Edge' has received wanderfull rivews and also reache the top 10 list in L.A. San Francisco and Miami.
