This Memphis based female fronted band was formed in 1994 having 4 seasoned and professional musicians the band provides a blend of Blues, Rock & Roll, and Original Music, showcasing Lethal Lisa's talent as a versatile song writer, vocalist and a premier female lead, slide and rhythm guitarist.
As hometown girl of Memphis Tennessee, Lethal Lisa's influences are rooted in sounds of Memphis legends. From Lisa's blues and rock original music, blues standards and cover tunes, she adds her inspiring lyric's and vocal's as well as her ability to set her guitars on fire with her masterful renditions. Providing the meter are bassist Rick McCall and Drummer Billy Holland. On B3 organ and keyboards is Russell Wheeler and providing that delta sound is Randy Birt on fill in Harmonica.
In July of 2001 Lethal Lisa McCall and SoundHole Music released an independent CD 'Memphis Fever'. This CD contains 13 Original Contemporary Blues and Rock Songs, Co-produced and composed by Lethal Lisa. Currently the CD has been recieving Air Play on WEVL FM90 Memphis, TN, WQOX FM88.5 Memphis, TN and KJLU FM88.9 Jefferson City, MO.
One highlight for the The Lethal Lisa Band in 2001 is that they had the distinct privilege to be featured in the Blues First International Blues Contest as Local Memphis Blues Artists at 152 Beale St. and Dicks Last Resort, Beale St. February2, 2001. The Band opened for contestants competing for the Blues Foundation’s honor of becoming first place winners for 2001.
