The Lackloves are a band built upon the solid melodic foundation laid by Lennon's Beatles, Davies' Kinks and Townshend's Who. They are not a retro band by any means, but they interpret the classic pop sound of this era with their own signature flavor and energy. Formed by Mike Jarvis and Bob Eickhoff after the demise of 90's super pop band, The Blow Pops, the Lackloves are all about the big chorus, the catchy melody, soaring harmony and the sweet, yet inventive guitar lick.

The Lackloves are fleshed out by Jack Rice on bass and Nick Verban on drums. The band is notorious for soaring lead and harmony vocals and a rough and tumble live show.

The Lackloves are currently supporting their debut CD 'As Far As You Know' throughout the midwest. They are also recording new songs for a followup CD, 'StarCityBaby' due out in late 2001. The band will have one song on 'Pop Under the Surface' a compilation from Sweden's Yesterday Girl Records.
