The Jonny Law Band was formed in 1999 deep in the swamplands of rural Connecticut. A guitar driven rock band with tight sets, extended jams with some of our favorite cover songs thrown into the mix! The band is deeply rooted in the heart and soul of blues, rock n' roll, and even a bit of funk and country, drawing from a wide range of influences including: The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Phish, The Black Crowes, Gov't Mule and countless others.
Jonny Law has shared the stage with Union, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Johnny Winter, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, NRBQ, The Derek Trucks Band, Blue Floyd, Dickey Betts, Zen Tricksters & The Radiators.
The band has been playing in local clubs and bars throughout New England taking a brief hiatus in 05 to break in a new vocalist and guitar player, Ted Thompson and Sketch on the bass. The new vocals and bass have added a dimension to the music while preserving the feel of all the classic Law tunes. Jonny Law continues its tradition of making great music and invites you to take the journey with us.
Jonny Law is: Ray Ramadon, guitar; Ted Thompson, vocals & guitar; Dave Andrews, drums; Sketch, bass & vocals
