The Imaginary Band is a trio with Rotcod Zzaj on keyboards and spoken word, Harlan Mark Vale on synths and drums, and Peter Tomshany on guitars and moog. The music on this disc is like a wild roller coaster ride with manic start/stop rhythms and countless sounds and efx making short, abrupt appearances throughout.

Harlan Mark Vale (aka Kramtones) was an Olympia/Seattle musician for many years. He first hooked up with Zzaj in the late '70's, & they've been making quality 'outside' music ever since. Vale now lives in Arizona.

Peter Tomshany met Mark Vale during one of the Olympia Experimental Music Festival's 'Hat-draw' improv sessions. He is a NATURAL, through & through & knows better than most how to improvise!

Rotcod Zzaj (as you've heard from many other sources by now) is an 'outlaw' in his music (as well as in most of the rest of his life). He has performed with numerous improvisors over the years, far too many to 'itemize' here.
