The Gandhi-boys originally formed as a mild-mannered 3 piece back in 2003, playing John Butler/ Ben Harper-esc acoustic brilliance. They then discovered their new second (but in many ways first) guitarist Mr Matt Phelan in the Summer of '05, turning the band into the rock genius's they really are!

The Gandhiband consists of Kris Gilmartin as the handsome rugby boy front man and guitarist, backed up by 3 of the sexiest additions to rock in the last 4 decades, Arran Bastable on Bass, Matt Phelan (as mentioned) on guitar and Dan Stewart on Drums.

The band have already released one EP last Summer and recieved widespread praise for it, however they feel that these tracks no longer represent the 'true' sound of the Gandhi's. The boys are currently in the studio with Mr Pete Flett (works with Dead Or American, The Site of Future Rome etc) to produce a new belter of an EP.
