The Electric Duck Experience, Ltd. is like when your Mom used to make milk out of that powder stuff. She'd just randomly make it when you ran out of real milk, but she'd never tell you when she made it. She'd put it on your cereal like it was milk from a cow. So you'd never know when to expect it. You could be eating cereal on Valentine's Day and thinking about your cute little Grade 3 crush, and all of a sudden POW! chunky milk and you'd vomit. Or you'd eat a delicious oatmeal cookie that was so amazing and tasty, then head to pour a glass of milk for yourself to quench your thirst only to discover that it had a skin growing on top of it. To you, powdered milk was the worst invention ever, and it was the number 1 reason you ran away from home. Any time in your adult years that you came across powdered milk in any way, it made you think back on those horrid days of torture when your mom and dad used to fight every night while you sat at the top of the stairs and listened. They fought for hours and hours and you'd just cry and cry, because you couldn't do anything. You felt so helpless. You always knew something was wrong with their marriage but never dared to speak a word about it. Sometimes now you wonder if it ever worked out between them. Leaving home at such a young age is a huge ordeal for a child..
TEDEL is the semi successful band founded by Hammer, Charcoal, Airraid, DrZaius and I. The music was made primarily to entertain us and nothing more, all the better if someone else found it funny. Some people in fact have, and it was always a treat when Hammer would find links to the website in odd forums and blogs. TEDEL is technically still alive, but barely, at that. After being jailed for nearly half a year, Charcoal has apparently moved to Halifax. Hammer is a huge drama queen and leaves for months at a time every once in a while. He left again about two months ago and with the lack of activity around us I doubt he's coming back. Doc and I however still churn out songs every month or so. I believe we nearly have enough for a final album, but I doubt it will ever make it off the ground. These 7 or 8 tracks may be released unofficially around March 18th 2005.
