Formed in the Winter of 2002, The Defecators deal their own unique blend of shock rock and mayhem. Plagued by unending lineup changes and other judicial set-backs, they have finally emerged as the permanent unholy black cloud over your hippy rainbow. FEEL THE WRATH!!!
The original lineup was some junked out loser named Ryan on guitar, Curtis on vocals, Steve Crosby on bass and Steve Zorn on drums. Subsequent lineups included the infamous Jason 'Corky' Burton on guitar followed by Josette, and Allan 'Darwin' Torres took over on drums.
The band took a Hiatus in beginning of 2005 and once again changed the lineup. This time Joe & Andy of Blashpemous Abnormality filled in the guitars, and after a few months of regrouping and writing some new songs (that weren't the same 3 chords over and over like their first guitarist) and hit the stage.
While the final lineup was a great combo that produced music that was far superior to anything the band had previously written or recorded, it too was a realitvely short lived project. The Defecators called it quits in late 2005 after some killer shows at John Henry's and some awesome mini tour dates. Frontman Curtis moved to Portland to persue music with guitarist Joe and everyone else is still in Eugene, or Lowell.
