The BogaTones may be best described as a progressive country music group. The BogaTones are a throwback to when it was ‘all about the music’. Formed by brothers Chris and David Murphy the group began the journey of writing and performing original music with impressive melodies, great instrumentation and strong vocal harmonies. The BogaTones have returned to the studio in November of 2003 to begin work in earnest on a new album. The new album is expected to be released in late 2004 or early 2005.

The BogaTones consist of Chris Murphy on bass guitar and lead vocals, David Murphy on Rhythm guitar and vocals, Kevin Smith Lead guitar and vocals, Fred Schendel keyboards and vocals, and Brian McDowell drums and percussion.
