Listen up all of you jovial artisans of the internet. We are The 4sum 5sum. We are 5 nerds who have decided to take alternative music to al whole new level. Mixing beautiful Smashing Pumpkins like arrangements with the absurdness of They Might Be Giants, we propose to not make an impression on the world, but leave a nastey dent in it as well. The only way to describe the band is to create a new word: Shineynice. Not shiney and nice but shineynice. Woodchucks are not composed of wood and chuck in the smae respect.

Justin Dixon and Joseph Pini sing the tales of times and people in rhymes backed by the lavish guitar stylings of Thoma Gipson, and the grooviest rythm section on earth: Daniel Kelley the oatmeal box banger and the most basic bass player one could base things upon, Ben Howard.

We have some studio recorded tracks and are preparing for our first full length album 'Breaking the Trend'. And we are constantly turnign out new demos every day. We're not some crummy band who can write a few really good songs, no we turn them out like sand (whatever that means) and worthy songs they are!

Presently we are seperated. Justin and Dan are attending college in Nashville TN, Joe is attending college in Kirksville MO, Tom resides in St. Chalres, and Ben in Texas. But when the band does come together, a rockin time is had by all. Look for us playing in St. Louis next summer!
