Tears For Juliet formed in 2003 and its band members reside in Spring Lake, but play more so in Grand Haven Michigan. They are their own style, combining rock riffs with punk beats, transitions with mixed time signatures, and melodic lines with harmonic solos. Lyrically, Tears For Juliet portrays an emotional/poetic style...emo for those who'd rather have a label. The members include three high school juniors and a college student. Joel writes, sings, and plays guitar. Ryan plays guitar. Adam plays bass. Evan, the college student, plays drums and sings.
The members of Tears For Juliet are all Christians that believe that out of all things that give them joy, God gives the most. They are involved in the worship band at Spring Lake Wesleyan Church and play weekly for middle school students, high school students, and a congregation on Sunday mornings for church. Adam is also heavily involved in the media at the church as well as playing bass occasionally with the other members of Tears For Juliet. They all appreciate the gifts God has given them, including the musical talents they have.
Tears For Juliet has just stepped forward in their career as a band with a four track CD. Although it is their first demo, they plan to record 10 to twelve track CD in the near future. They have played at and won band competitions and have opened for two famous artists: Jon Rueben and Justifide. The music is rock so the crowds they play for are diverse. Tears For Juliet's style is easy to listen to and is excellent for people who like Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, Yellowcard, and other similar rock bands.
