tres monos was formed in 2003, after a split-up of the band 'drown a fish'. campoz and topoke got together and started the project wanting to continue doing music and enjoying it! an album is to be released in the fall of 2004. recordings and artwork are almost done - a video clip is to be realised too (www.rnb-film.at)!!! ain't no limits...

tres monos music is a mix of electronix, hiphop, rock, latin and african influence due to the background of campoz (el salvador) and topoke (congo). the language is english, but some songs are also sung in spanish, german, french and lingala!
