TKO was formed in May 2004. Five musicians joined together in Room 5 in Applerock studios for a jam and that was that.They began to play live shows and build their fanbase slowly and by word of mouth.

These early gigs showed potential so the lads got down to intense rehearsals and new sounds and instruments began to appear. Melodic funk-rock was the best way to describe it but that can only be decided by the listener.

They entered the Origin Studios in March 2005 to record their Debut EP 'Hats Off'. The sessions ran smoothly and They recorded 5 songs. Four of which would appear on the EP.
