Sunroad was formed at July/August 1996. The band started with covers but soon went into own compositions. After some line-up changes and sharpening their existential hard rock style, they signed with Avantage Records which had distributed the band third album all over the world. The bandand become international known group since.

Sunroad are Leo Yanes on lead and backing vocals, Helder Di´Castro on lead and acoustic guitars, Akasio Angels on keyborads, rhythm guitars and backing vocals, Enilson Ferana on bass and Fred Mika on drums, percussion and backing vocals. Hard´n´heavy style with strong influences of blus rock and progressive rock too.

After they recorded the Sunroad´s third album, Arena oF Aliens (2003), the things changed, and changed a lot. That power album was captured by Avantage Records which made Sunroad known all over the world, Usa to Europe, South America to Japan. They got from a famous german group Scorpions a permission to recovering the song Sun In My Hand (In Trance-1975) for Sunroad next album, Flying´n´floating. The band play a modern hard rock with cleary David Coverdale´s influences.
