Emerging from the ever growing Rock community, West-London based band 'Subject to Change' are a refreshing new four-piece. Driven by their passion for music and strong commitment the future for this band is looking extremely promising.
Influences by a wide variety of Punk and Metal bands such as Biffy Clyro, Lagwagon, The Used, Mudvayne, Coheed and Cambria, Thursday and so on 'Subject to Change' have developed their own unique and individual style leaving a definite mark on the UK Punk/Post-Hardcore scene
In 2000/01 the band were formerly known as 'Skud' and were a well established four-piece which then included Ben Ashton on rhythm guitar and Ian Rees on bass (who now plays guitar for 'Days in December')Over those couple of years the band had headlining sell-out shows at 'The Limelight Theatre' and 'The Hop Pole' in Aylesbury/Bucks. They did radio interviews (on Mix96), featured in local papers and various different magazines.
By the summer of 2003 the band were faced with finding a new bassist and after a long search to find the right candidate they were approached by Dan Oehlman (a local bass player/pianist) the band rehearsed with him and by Oct '03 he was a full-time member of S.t.C.Now in 2004 the band have been writing and practising new material, recording their new EP 'First signs of frost' with new guitarist (ex-Tanjent member) Adam Mason, also doing interviews for websites, featuring on radio stations (such as 'Total Rock') and promoting their gigs and music.
