During a show you will hear a medley of rock, jazz, some hip-hop, funk, reggae, and definately good vibes; your body can't help but move! The many styles of music they incorporate allow Strut Train to perform to diverse audiences. Their enthusiasm on stage infects the audience and every show becomes a party--a celebration of how much Strut Train loves life, music, and to entertain.
Strut Train was recently choosen, one of thirty bands the United States, to be featured in a documentary film sponsored by DreamWorks & BMG. The film, '30 Cities in 30 Days', is due out Fall of 2001 and will feature clips of Strut Train's live performance & Interview filmed this Summer.
Strut Train was also recently honored by Whatzup Magazine's Best of 2000 Readers Poll, winning Best CD Release Rock, Best R&B, Hip-Hop & Funk Band, & Performers of the Year ! Winning battles of the bands, opening for National Acts such as Elwood, Gravity Kills, Caviar, & The Urge, being selected for several compilation CD's, getting specialty radio airplay, and breaking attendance records at many concert venues, are proof that they are doing something right.
