The five-peice lineup hails from Charleston West Virginia. The sound is that of old school heavy metal from the cassette tape era(as Bill Lynch formerly of the Gazz once said in a review about the band). Stone Ka-Tet has opened for the likes of Clutch, Trivium, Baghead, and the band has headlined the supersucessful ADAMFEST I and II(for Adam Weaver a 21 year old battling Hodgkins Lymphoma)and soon to headline the third installment of the festival to raise money for the young man.
Stone Ka-Tet consists of the following Charleston area music veterans, ROADBLOCK(Bass), Eric Seckman(Drums), Craig Dickinson(Guitar), Dave Clendenin(Guitar), and Lee Harrah(Vocals). The current lineup has only been together for about 2 months and has expanded the depth of the music and has showed the Kanawha Valley it's not too late to rock!
In the year 2005 Stone Ka-Tet saw changes in the rhythm section and a guitarist. Stone Ka-Tet has one of the biggest fan bases in the history of the West Virginia music scene. 'The Family' is hundreds strong worldwide. Family Members are in Hungary, Canada, and the rest of the continental U.S.and is getting bigger. Everyday.
