Stocious is an up and coming band based in Edinburgh, formed in early 2003. The band have been progressing ever since. Stocious put 100% into every gig, be it for 3 or 300 people.

The band consists of Kevin Moore (guitars and lead vocals), Simon Howe (guitars and backing vocals), Andrew Ruxton (bass) and Andrew McIntosh (drums). They play blues based rock n roll, but each member has a different personal taste and this leads to a wide array of influences and sounds

Stocious began when Newcastle-born Kev and Si came up to Edinburgh to university. They met bassist Andy through a university society, and these three worked on songs for over a year. Drummer Andy was recruited in April 2003 and from that point on the line up was complete.

After establishing themselves on the Edinburgh club scene, Stocious went on to win the Scottish Songwriters Competition, a contest which featured 24 competing bands. The prize was the chance to record a professional demo, which is currently being finalised. Stocious are now building a following in Edinburgh and hope to expand their horizons in this coming year.
