“Squishy Mud” was formed in 1998Jim Has been playing in the Twin Cities since 1981. Scott Howe joined the band in 2002 And Jim Stroud Joined in 2005. The Squishy Mud Band only plays songs that pass our stringent “this is a great song test” and truly appreciate every chance we get to perform together. The band has plays mostly in Minnesota.But ocasionally performs in the five state areaSquishy mud is not your standard “power trio” performing original songs and easily covering songs originally performed by much larger bands. Squishy loves to transition from traditional electric blues to Van Morrison to 50's and 60's classic rock to power blues.

Our influences are : zz top, the who, Little Richard,BB king, SRV, led zepplin, allman bros. hendrix, Van Morrison, Big head Todd, various blues legends...mostly Blues based rock.

We are currently working on our new cd and playing every weekend doing what we love!!!
