Space Pocket, from Lawrence, Kansas, blends an eclectic mix of acid jazz, fusion, avant-garde, latin, and many other styles in their electric bowl of grooves. Consisting of saxophone, Rhodes electric piano, bass and drums, the combo is a throwback to the late 60's and early 70's soul jazz and fusion days.

'Time In Space' is Space Pocket's latest official release, available from the band's website and at their shows, and chronicles the live experiences of the band. Plans are in the works for a new studio recording by the end of the millennium. However, the band must be heard live to truly appreciate their music in its natural state.
