The band, Sour Owl, was formed 3 years ago when singer/ guitarist Lynn Henson and original bassist Jim Wascyk played as a duo in Olympia Washington. Over the years the band has morphed into one of the most powerful and respected groups in the pacific northwest.

Sour Owl consists of Lynn Henson, newest member and family member Chris Hyde, on bass, Tommy 'Lip Muscle' Russell on woodwinds, and the amazing Scott Peoples on drums. With a lineup as talented as this, it is no wonder why Sour Owl has risen through the ranks and firmly established themselves as an ultra premiere, listner friendly band. Besides being monsters on their instruments, all the guys are really grateful and always appreciate hanging out and having fun with everyone.

Sour Owls first release off the new album, 'PauerMega', is called 'Opium'. This tune is #1 on 10 different radio stations People's Choice Countdowns. This will be the only single released off this album. The album has sold over 200,000 copies due to the relentless touring. Sour Owl prefers to stay away from conventional media outlets choosing to be known as a live band. You will not see a lot of interviews, or hear them alot on the radio. Just keep an eye open for Sour Owl playing live, because they will be in a town near you very soon.
