Soulcandy were formed in 1997 in Glasgow, Scotland by Dochan MacMillan while at Music College. After various incarnations the band settled into the current line-up of Madeline Baker(vox,tamb) Zander MacFarlane(guitar, vox) and Dochan MacMillan(bass,slide,banjo,vox)With drummers Neil Stott and Doug Wylie, along with occasional percussionist Ryan Bongoman completing the crew Soulcandy have talent and originality in abundance.

Live Soulcandy are a sight to behold with elements of funk, hard rock, folk and alt/country. Laced with the silky vocals of lead singer Madeline Baker producing a heady mix of original material, Soulcandy create a live experience not easily forgoten.

2004 saw the band step up the amount of gigs played around scotland. Highlights so far have been the acoustic nights at The Free Candy Collective @ the liquid lounge,Glasgow and a storming gig at the world famous Nice and Sleazys, Glasgow.
