Smokehouse Brown was formed in January, 1992. Consisting of 3 of it's original members, the band currently displays scorching vocals, fervent dual lead guitars and a thunderous rhythm section.

The band consists of Dannie Harrison on lead vocals, Randy Thompson and Tim Pearl on guitar and vocals, Paul Simmons on bass and Dale 'Bigstix' Fannin on drums. Each member has been entertaining for more than 20 years in a variety of musical styles. Many years of hard work have developed into a sound which is a mixture of classic rock and blues with a slightly country flavor which comes from playing clubs in North Alabama.

Smokehouse Brown is currently involved in putting together a collection of original music. This will be our first effort and we are looking forward to the challenge. We are playing clubs weekly in the interim and loving every minute of it. That is, after all, why we do it--is it not?
