Smilin liar is a big part of the Minneapolis Hardcore scene. we have been in the scene for a little less than a year and growin everyday. we personally have a complete sound of our own but people has labeled us as sounding like a strange mixture between Korn and The Deftones.

We are a five piece band: a lead singer, lead guitar, rythem guitar, bassist, and a drummer.

We have a huge younger crowd and we try to play a lot of 18+ or all ages shows.

Our drummer has a funky/jazzy style to his drumming, that gives Smilin Liar a nice groove with the harder guitar rifts for anyone to get into!
