Small Boy Pete’s is a band based out of the Southern Maine area and has been a band for five years. During this time, we have performed at various special events in addition to playing in clubs in the local area such as: The Maine Mall, Cumberland County Civic Center during a Portland Pirates hockey game, UPN 35 TV show “Late Night Express” where we appeared as the featured artist, a local cable access TV acoustic show, the Portland Downtown District Noon Concert Series and Funtown/Splashtown USA.
SBP released their debut CD “The Neighborhood” in December 1997, which was produced and written by Pete Grenier. Guest engineer/producer Lance Vardis and singer/harmonica player Chuck Noe contributed to 'The Neighborhood' CD. “The Neighborhood” CD has received local radio airplay and was a finalist in the international Sennheiser’s Evolution Band Contest. SBP is currently performing and recording songs for our next CD and anticipate the release of this CD sometime soon.
Members of SBP are: Pete Grenier – lead guitar, vocals; Carrie Grenier – rhythm guitar, vocals, harmonica, percussion; Ken Janson – drums, vocals; and Al Smith – bass, vocals.
