Jesse and Chad grew up near each other in southern Minnesota and had been playing together for about five years when Connor and I (Charity) met them at Moorhead State University. We played music that Chad and Jesse had already established and have been writing together as a band for the past two years.
Jesse plays acoustic guitar, mandolin, some bass and sings. Chad plays bass, guitar, and and also sings while I play guitar, cello, banjo, didj, and sing backup. Connor, while he can't hold a note occasionally howls, barks, and talks gibberish. But seriously he builds his own hand drums for our more folky side and plays trap set.
We have been playing a lot in the Fargo Moorhead area the past three months and are currently booked through July. We have a variety of listeners ranging from the school kids that listen in at the coffee shops to our brothers and sisters that come to dance at the bars.
We are very versatile as far as style but we describe ourselves as upbeat folk. We love to say HIGH to our audience and then get them up and groovin. Our friendship and great sense of humor shine through on stage and off. And we welcome input and players of all instruments.
