Slingshot consists of Jodi Ives-lead vocals, John Garman-drums&lead vocals, Jared Bader-lead/rhythm guitar&vocals, Sherone Sader-keys&vocals and Mike Phillippe-bass guitar. Every member has prior musical background consisting of rock, old&new country, blues, jazz, classical and gospel. Quite a mix brought to the table.

Hastings is the band's current homebase. Slingshot has performed on many a stage, large or small, across Nebraska and Kansas.
