A little over a year ago, Wes started grabbing together former bandmates from other bands that we all had been in just for fun. We all had started our instruments mostly at the same time, and we all grew up jamming together. The band was known by many different aliases, until finally coming by the permanent name, Seek The Riot. The main goal of STR was to explore the depth of our influences and bring out the qualities we love the most, and bring them into our music. Danz brings in the lighter rock into the band with influences such as; Styx and Queen type vocals. Wes throws into the mix a bit of CCR, Led Zeppelin, Skid Row, and Steel Dragon to bring in a bit of light and some heavy. DeWeese carries with him the heavier end; Black Label Society, Pride and Glory, Lynard Skynard, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC. Sutter really likes metal so he mixes in alot of speed. Steve also likes metal, and he brings even heavier influences in too, from 80's metal to current metal. And it is all of this together that makes us such a unique band. All of our styles are different, and you can definately tell that by our recordings.
