Well, Seamus was just recently formed in 2004. It consists of three members: Rob Gordon (guitar), James Crosson (drums), and Scott Satterwhite (bass). Each of us also play other instruments which we incorporate in our music. We're all three good musicians who have been playing for a good while. We're humble about our music, we accept all critisism and complements and have an overwhelming love of music and playing music.
Seamus has currently been playing shows at parties and medium sized social functions latley, but we are willing and ready to accept bigger and better shows. We are continuously writing and recording new music and we love to have as much fun as humanly possible. We all attend Enloe Highschool in Raleigh NC.
Here is our bio-
It all started one day in June of 2004, when three god-fearing, well two god-fearing kids an one agnostic, walked into a decent-sized house on a quaint street where they wrote and roughly recorded two masterpieces (now known as Medians and Laughing at You). The rest was history, altough sick and twisted through the streets of suburbia, it was a history. The legend unfolded when frontman and guitarist Rob Gordon, former rhythm guitarist of Dress for Leisure, was left by his band due to his deceptive looks (they went on tour and left him cause he was only 13 when they thought he was 18). Anywho, young Roberto was left without a home, without a village, without a wife, and most importantly without a band. He spent his time raising three turkeys by the name of Lloyd, Mankey, and Seamus. Lloyd and Mankey soon caught on to Rob's sick ways and left him. However, Seamus stayed true to Rob for three more days and caught on as well and left without haste. During those three days, however, young Roberto found the meaning of love and lust in the adolecent life. With a new found hope and mended heart, Rob set his foot in the closing door of oppurtunity, and threw it open one more time in hopes of claming that home, village, wife, and most importanly band, once again. Who met him on the other side: two men dress fully in red and mounted on stallions, mounties they were, in fact Mounties lead guitarist Scott Satterwhite, and drummer, James Crosson. From humble beginnings James and Scott were. Raised in the dull grey of well-tamed sights and sounds, they were intrigued in the unknown that came with the man from behind the door. Never having met such an agnostic being before, they were hesitant to befriend him so soon. It would take a series of tests and trials for young Roberto to be trusted among those men in long red tights.Unsurprisingly Roberto passed the trials with flying colors and earned his golden unicorn wings of trust. Because of Robby's acheivment, the two Mounties were more than happy to end his long search for a band and they joined hands and legs with Seamus the turkey as their guide. Seamus then led them to their 4 trusty golden unicorns and they were ready to gallop/soar off into the unknown horizon of the irish country side (seamus's homeland). As they were galloping/soaring across the gound/sky a horrible storm from the Gods struck, Bang-Boom-Fandoozle! The three amigos were left baffled, they looked up and down and sideways and frontways and backways and inways and outways but wise Seamus was no where to be found. For a minute the men thought they couldn't possibly continue, but then inspiration struck Roberto and his compadres ! They would carry on and plow forward into the never ending, while never forgetting the legend of their legendary leader, Seamus. In honor of him, their newly formed band was titled the following...Seamus. Since then, the boys have been writing, singing, and playing their hearts out to the masses. They never stop searching for inspiration, scowering the irish plains they go to the deapest vallys and the highest sloaps looking for emotion and indiginiousiousness, and ofcourse their long lost friend ansd companion, Seamus.
