SCHFViLKUS was born in 1996 when guitarist Chris Grainger and drummer David Walden got together for a jam session. We soon realized we had something different going on. The sum of our musical influences created a sound which can't be described. You have to hear it to understand.

Soon after its formation, bassist Joe Malloney joined to fill out the sound. With the core together, SCHFViLKUS went on to tour the Southeast for the next few years and labor at producing two albums, Ambidustrious and Genrealization. There have been several additional cast members in this time and the list is still growing so you never know who will be playing with us. Currently we are touring with keyboardist Jeff Crow.

As 2002 rolled around SCHFViLKUS was ready to hit the road to bring our brand of genre-less grooves to the masses. You can find a little SCHFViLKUS now coast to coast. Keep your eyes open, we may be in your backyard soon.
