Don Quixote was a character dedicated to the spirit of imagination and adventure. He called his adventures 'sallies'. Taking influence from Mr Quixote, Running With Sally is about adventure. It is about running with those dreams that most people think are impossible. It is about weaving together a web of stories, and of communicating this web to as many people as they can through the language of music. Running With Sallyšs music fuses rock with a little jazz and funk. They throw in some extended jams whose melodies take you on adventures all of their own. Running With Sally wants to use their music to communicate at a mass level a message of peace, work hard, take advantage of what youšve got, live in the moment and enjoy life. Running With Sally intends to use their music to inspire people and to move minds.

Running With Sally is made up of a tight group of friends that have become like family. Vocalist Trevor and guitarist Doug have known each other since they were children in Rochester NY. They started playing music together in Vail CO, and disbanded for a while when Trevor went to Jamaica to serve in the Peace Corps. After his return, Running With Sally was born. Running With Sally is a band that likes to give back to the community. For three years now, they have been putting together Boulderšs annual 'Shake on the Halfshell', a concert that benefits the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center.

In the past year, Running With Sally signed to Denveršs Hapi Skratch Records. They have been hard at work on their debut CD, 'The First Sally'. This record is the first adventure in a story that will bring a smile and a higher awareness to all encountered.
